OK I know at least a couple people have tried those 3M Trizact belts- I have a 1300 grit and it is giving me FITS!!!! Everytime I use it it seems to RIP the surface of my cabs off- it puts lines of little pits all over the face of the cab (so bad that I have to take them back to the 600 belt)- Now I have a 1200 Regular Alum. Oxide belt and that does not do it- only the Trizact Alum Oxide belt, I have tried everything I can think of- More water- less water- runing a very hard agate across it to "break it in" (it even pocked up the polished Montana Agate square I was using to break it in) I won't have my Diamond belts for another week or so- and I really wanted to finish this latest batch of cabs- but this Trizaxt belt has me FUMMING!!! OK I feel better now- So anyone want to trade something for a slightly used Trizact (1300grit) belt?

Nope. I have a couple of those belts myself and they have eaten a few stones in the manner you describe. I rarely use them anymore. If I do I only use it with a very light touch and not on corners of stones at all! Sorry!!

Keep your stinkin' belt, Stefan. Sounds like all it's good for is cleanin' up tumbling rough. Rich
