Hey all, I was in Las Cruces last weekend again and did some rockhounding within the city and came up with some pretty cool rocks. In this set are some of the pieces I've cabbed from those rocks as well as a few other standards. First 3 are Las Cruces finds. This is from a thunderegg I bought in Deming. Green Moss Agate Boulder Opal A couple of MH Poppy Jaspers I'll post pics of the rest of my finds and buys in the photo section when I get time.

Welcome back Ed, looks like you had a good time. Nice job on all of them, that thunderegg cab is stunning. Oh shoot, they are all stunning, I swear you could take dried bubble gum from under a table and put a shine on it. ;D

wow ed those look great. The thunder agg is outstanding! Isn't it great to find your own rocks, cut 'em up and them cab 'em? I think that's about as much fun there is, well maybe selling them afterwards is funner but you know what I mean

I know what you mean Robert. I've found rocks before and cabbed them, but they weren't nearly as nice as these. I'll try and get the pics posted of the ones I found, some are pretty amazing.

Yeeah! More stoner cabs! Welcome back Ed! Those Las Cruces cabs are interesting. It's hard to imagine they all came from the same place. I like #3 a bunch. That green moss agate is very eyecatching and cool. Of course, I am instanty drawn to the Morgan Hill Jasper as usual. Super nice cabs dude! Steve

That 3rd city rock is mind blowing. Were they landscape rock or or just out of a field? Bill
