Just beautiful. I see you are very fast. One day in the field next day at the grinder. All cabs are great, but my favs are those from your's and rellyrock's collecting trip, especially the third one. Zoran

I am envious of your 3 day work week Ed, Before I even got home I went out to a movie with my brother, next morning went to work, got home at 5 and then back out to work a show at 5:30. I haven't even gotten the rocks out of the back of the car yet!
And I think I left my little pick hammer at that last big rock we broke up, I guess the next rockhound to come across it will feel lucky.....

Oooooooo is that third one pet wood? Kind of looks like it don't you think? Whatever it is, it's totally stunning. Awesome job Ed!

Thanks everyone. That's too bad about the pick Pete. But I seem to remember you first bringing your heavy hammer then when you went up to the car you came back with your large pick, so maybe it's in your car somewhere. I can't imagine how you could lose anything in your car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell, I almost lost my wallet in your car! Cher, that third one is serpentine, super soft rock but takes a great shine. It's the offical California state rock.

Ed-
Great work. I love seeing the Rainbow Obsidian---now that I've seen it in person, I know how truly spectacular it is.
I want to see some Stone Canyon Cabs.......LOL.

Jeremy, I think it's nice material. Hell, I picked up probably 70lbs of it myself on Monday.

Just back taking another lookie! Yup I'm thinking this is some very cool stuff- SO when I go searching for it- all I got to look for is a rock hammer- then I know I'm at the spot!

You continue to push the cabbing envelope. I like the plasma agates you collected with Rallyrocks the most. Those crazy lace agates look like they are boiling. Cool. Thanks for the photos. Steve
