Ed-
Hey that Stone Canyon is really awesome stuff. It looks really solid and I'm sure it's fun to work with. I'm glad you finally got around to doing some....now only about 200 more until that huge brick is gone....LOL. Is that jade Big Sure? Doesn't look like it to me, but hey, what do I know.

Um, Tim, at the top of the post I said Happy Camp in Northern Calif. Big Sur jade is nepherite jade, this stuff is Idocrase.

Great looking Rhodonite. I like the look of the black bits a lot. That stone canyon looks wonderful. I like all the wild shapes too. Thanks for the photos. Steve

Incredible looking cabs Ed. I don't see any fractures in the jade, I am guessing its a lot easier then the nephrite stuff. I like the new look photos too, great all around.

C'mon Tim....wake up and smell the Jade! Fine looking cabs again Stoner. That Happy Camp seems more translucent than the Big Sur and that STone Canyon is some funky stuff. Love em' all. Steve

great job ed! the jade was the clear winner till I got down to the stone canyon. Those two are the best IMO but there is something kinda warm and fuzzy about the jade

Isn't Happy Camp near Big Sur? LOL I use to fish near Happy Camp on my fall fishing trip. I wish I knew about the jade and rhodonite. Could have been hunting for it when the fishing was slow. Happy Camp is only 8-9 hours from Big Sur.

Those are delightful Ed! I love what you did with the material. I have some myself and hope to begin working it soon. Hope I can get it to look somewhat as good as yours!
