remember when I posted this pic? I sent Stoner a piece of the red forest fire plume & he sent all of these back...

Well...I chose the real nice teardrop shaped forest fire cab & had it set in a custom SS mounting for the childs birthday in Jan. I chose one that had open sides so the beautiful red wasn't covered up. Then I remembered, I had a real nice little garnet in the safe (our birthstone) so I had them add it.

Ed...I wish you coulda seen her face when she opened up the box. I promised a couple a pics of her wearing the pendant, but I gotta take a couple more...the pics were sooo blurred, you couldn't tell if it was a real person or not.

Anywho...I wanted you all to see!

Very nice choice for the setting Liz and the garnet really sets the whole thing off. Was that a stock setting or did you have it custom made? I'm glad your daughter liked it and I hope you remembered to tell her Happy birthday for me.

Since we couldn't find a mounting in their stock, they said it would be a custom job. I did business with the rock shop "Handleys" where I buy most of my stuff. They had never seen this type of plume before AND they felt whoever did the cab...did a mighty fine job.
