Hey Joe, is puddingstone what it's called when it's got rocks with matrix? Something similar to finding a piece of concrete?
Yours is very nice - like the color

I believe it is Tweetie. I'm not positive but I think they call it a concretion! It has a deeper darker look in person, my pics leave something to be desired!

Those are very cool Joe, I like the patterns and color and there is nothing wrong with your pics at all! It does kind of look like little pieces were all glued together, hard to even imagine the forces and whatnot that created it. Whatever you call it, it's really cool. Nice job on them!!

Looks like brecciated greenstone!!! Basically a basalt that was broken apart and rejoined!!! Nice cabs Joe- Very interesting material.

Wow, that's a new color combination for puddingstone! The green is real nice, I'd classify it as sort of intermediate between a puddingstone which is a conglomerate of cemented together rounded pebbles and a breccia which is re-cemented angular rock fragments as there appear to be some kind of rounded components and others a bit more angular. Whatever, it's a good find and a pretty material.....mel

Thank you all! It may look a little greener in the pic than it is. It's a gray with a slight green to it. The patterns are cool! Thanx for the ID help Mel. I love to know more about the rock I work.
