Well, finally slowing down a bit to start sharing more work with you guys. This group came off a new 80grit 8x2inch wheel i got from a new soruce. Nothing like a new wheel no matter who it came from. First are two Dinos that came off the same slab; Here is a large Plume of Robinson Ranch agate, and a Condor Agate Heres another Orbicular Tiffany Stone, and a fine Aussie opal(cosmic) Last is an Mica stone, Musovite i thought was a Serpentine. But after slabbing it. The mica crystals would flash similar to labradorite. I really like the shape in this cab.

Oh Shain! That dino is way cool. I'm taking a stab at the answer about how both came from the same pet bone.
Would it be cause...bone structure changes. Think of say...a femur in a person. Parts of it would be very dense...other parts of the same bone would be more pourous and as a bone starts to petrify...what ever substance that fills the voids would be less in some areas and more predominate in others? I saw a show on one of the science type channels a while back about martial arts. Namely...people that break world records destroying bricks & stuff. The stronger the bone, the more dense it is. Call me crazy...but that's what I'm thinkin!

Thanks Guys, i agree, the dino is da bomb.
Tweet, it s tooth pick and some blu tac(a putty glue)
good cal Liz, i think that would be right on the nose. As well i think the same princlpe applies to the rocks that invaded it and changed into what it is now. Rocks are alive in every aspect there.
