Here's a couple of Picasso marbles, from Utah. Too bad the round one's got a little fracture on the left side. I guess I'd make a lousy doctor cause I thought this fracture was healed, but my 600 wheel runs rough and snapped it right away. One of these years I'll finish the two pieces. Bulico jasper from Mexico. Rich

I absolutely love the picasso marble! They look like pieces of art. Oh, bummer about the Jasper, don't you just hate that??

the picasso marble has to be one of my favorite stones to see cabbed. too bad it doesn't take a shine in the tumblers. yeh, shame about that Bulico, that was looking sweet. Kim's right, maybe time to try some inlay or some intarsia. didn't Emerald (who doesn't seem to log in anymore) make a spectacular "cabo-save" with one similar to that?? i found it, check the third photo down in this thread: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Pictures&thread=1131373304&page=1KD

Kim, KD - Good idea on the cabosave. Emerald did a beautiful job on that Labradorite. Funny, though . . . intarsia/inlay/mosaic/marquetry/pietra dura is like agate/jasper/flint/chert/chalcedony Rich

Great lookin' pieces Rich! I like that material. Maybe finish the two halves of the broken one as "Friendship Stones"?
