Here's a a few cabs I did today and some Chrysocolla from the batch before it. Hope you like them Steve Pet wood from Arizona. Poppy Jasper from Ed. One biggie and two earring sets. The smaller pairs are each about the size of my second to pinky fingernail. All these have some tiny metalic looking parts too. I have no idea what that stuff is. You can see it sparkle. Chrysocolla from Jamie.

Excellent cabs Steve. That poppy jasper really looks sharp. I just found out the other day that this poppy jasper has some pyrite in it so maybe that's what you're seeing.

very nice batch there Steve, those poppies sure have a unqiue looking color to them. Kinda shifting green in some areas, or am i imaging that color? Both the wood and the Chrysocolla is fine. Thanks for sharing. ;D

Thank for the comments everyone. The poppies are unique in these ones. It seems like that stuff looks different from rock to rock. THe green you see is actually yellow with some weird metalic inclusions that sparkle. I looked at them under a microscope and found lots of tiny dark-silvery crystals. They occur as round flat plates. Does anyone know what they could be? Steve
