I have several cabs I've been working on this past couple weeks. Tonight I was afforded the chance to polish the first four of them. If you'll forgive the glare and the blur, tilt your head sideways and squint.. they might look ok LOL! Oh to have a decent macro-setting on the cam. First is an unknown agate (cut from a slab from the local rock shop) The rest are self collected. Agate Mountain AZ Pet Wood Verde River Jasper Thanks for looking!

I think the first one is agua nueva....the lavender and pink bands are a giveaway.

Two thumbs up for the Arizona wood, Brian. Best cab . . . . . and best pic.

Way to go Brian, that agate in the first is most likley a laguna from the pattern and color. But no garantee that is what it is. Ive seen some AZ banded agate in old collections have similar purple colors. Nice orientation on that last cab. That white stipe almost looks fake. Way cool and thanks for sharing. ;D

That Verde River Jasper looks cool with the white stripe. Interesting effect. I really like the AZ pet wood also. Nice cabs all around! Steve

That last one is great! I like so much its shape, and the white stripe makes it more original.

Great cabs Brian. Man, you're getting good fast. I'd have to say agua nueva on the first one as well. Nice cut on the last one.

Cool shapes on each one. I'm partial to the AZ petwood.

Thanks for the unknown ID, and for all the kind words! The stripe through the Verde cab is like a glowing light blue color with very distinct banding running through it. Of course I couldn't get that to show up. Hopefully I'll get the chance to polish and post up a couple more tonight ;D
Thanks again!

Gee, that AZ pet wood is so amazing. Not that the job you did on all of them isn't. :-)
