I thought I would repost this for all the new cabbers out there. Ed (Stoner) gave me this beauty a couple years ago. This is by far the best one I have seen in my opinion. Its a sight to behold up close. Thanks again Ed.

Wow, blast from the past! I remember that one, but I think you've cut some that are as nice if not better than that one. Glad I don't use those calipers anymore!

That is a sweet cab, thanks for reposting it, don't recall ever seeing that one. There's lots of neat stuff going on in that one little piece, but as Ed said, (and not to take away anything from him) but, I think I've seen a few of your cabs that I like even better. I think you are, without a doubt; the B.O. King! Steve

Great boulder opal piece, and that shark tooth shape competes its unicity.

Hi :
Great looking cab!!! Is that really just boulder opal or does it come from a location like koriot or yowah - or maybe some other obscure location.? What size is that cab?

Goldenfinger, I think this is a Koroit opal. The size is around 30 to 40 mm, its pretty big.

I see some characteristics of Koroit and I also see some of characteristics of Yowah. Regardless it's a beautiful stone ;D ;D
