I had a lot of extra time this weekend to have fun with my hobby. I did a lot of cutting (boulder opal) and found some really promising pieces. These are the cabs I cut from some of them, they came out pretty good. I had to stop as my two index finger were bleeding pretty bad. I guess I should look into dop sticks LOL! Here are the cabs:

Not sure what these are, I think I found them in the pacific ocean:

Good eye Cher, I see it too. Shain your right I my rework it But with my luck I would probably grind off the rest of the opal. Joe, not sure what you mean by jade? What is jade? LOL! I took this photo right after I did the cabs. You know what they say, "no pain no gain".
