Very nice. I especially like the moss agate - looks like some kind of fossilized bacteria. -Don

Thanks Guys, Out of the three i like the berber best. Only becasue its a odd included agate that is new on the market. Liz- the peanut term comes from i dont know were. The term ive seen before noting this type of Orbicular rhyolite at a few gemshows and online once. Though i call it an obsidian, a geologist would call this rhyolite. Even though its made up mostly of Obsidian. I think the term came about from the coloration of the orbs. As they have always been a copper/brown/red color. Which kinda of looks like the paper shell on spanish peanuts. Know i am not mining or selling this material in rough. Mainly becasue its often completly fractured up. If i were selling the rough, i would have it chemically tested to know for sure its precentages. Which would define the name in the end. I have only ever seen "peanut" obsidian sold a few times over the years. Its a oddity for sure. Only wish the stuff ive been finding is not so fractured up. however my last trip up fish Creek found hugh amounts of less fractured rough, and its soruce. Just impossible to mine. I've never seen those kinds of rocks before. Thanks for posting them. They're terrific.
