Ya'll try not to spit all over your puter screen laughing. I don't have polishing equipment yet, so I had to run them through the Lot-O. Every darn one of them has blemishes and will have to be reworked. Jasper Wood with red agate vein. The rest are Jasper Thanks for looking! Cur

Hey man, all I have is a couple diamond bits and a 1.5" wheel for my Dremel to cab on so I know the feeling. I have to tumble my preforms to polish too but I have had pretty good luck so far with things making it out undamaged.
Keep at it, it's a good start, some problems are inherent to the material also.

I like the shapes; in the photos they look pretty good. It is hard to get out the flat spots if you don't have the soft wheels or tumble in a rotary through all the stages. I don't think I could do it with out doing one or the other.

Gotta start somewhere Curt, at least with your lotto, you get them done faster. I like the freeforms that are shaped them tumbled.

I think they look great. ANd like someone else said, you can't help that mother nature included some little 'imperfections.' Good work for you. I have a lot to learn to get where you are now.

very nice batch, shame about the spots that undercut on you in the tumbler...some jasper is like that. you need to find some nice brazilian agate, that stuff can be shaped and tumbled and comes out with an excellent shine!
