Well it's about time these got done!
I only have one sanding drum and have to keep changing belts so I usually try to get a whole bunch cut as I pass them through each belt - so I don,t spent all my time changing belts... Unfortunately, my photography skills have gotten better, but they just show the flaws in my cabs - (ignore those flaws, they'll be going back to the 600)
Here are the latest
Some of Kims Swazi bloodstone
Three montana agates (I think they came from Warren - thanks again Warren) - my favorite is the second one - Anyone know if that's Chinese writing - or what it says?
the heel end of some of Banjo's graveyard plume - it looks like it's got some pyrite in it too
Jamie's Hooba Jasper - this is beautiful stuff - thanks again Jamie
This looks like a thunderegg - I'm not thrilled but it's okay
This one you must ignore the scratches - it's mahogony obsidian with a big snowflake on the front - the hole is for a jumpring - the flat side has given me much grief
This is from Banjo's graveyard plume (or is it some other sort of plume??)
A beautiful piece of a brazilian - i think... Yeah I'm getting much better at the IDing...
This is from a piece of green rutilated quartz from stoneageindustries that I won - I saw Sands' cab and was inspired - but then was dissapointed, it didn,t polish up like I thought it would... but it's okay, it got shrunk down a bit the initial shape was modified
a piece of of green tree agate - another from my win at SAI - I'm dissapointed, I had tumbled a piece before and the shine was amazing, this one...not so much.
This is a piece of montana agate - it looks like an eye - this stuff polishes like wet glass.
This is weird stuff, it's some sort of brazilian with what looks like druzy in the centre, but it's solid stuff
Thanks for looking - sorry for the massive amount of pictures & again please excuse the scratches - but on the bright side the pictures are pretty good... ;D
