Interesting and beautiful. You could wrap it in such a manner that the wire to have also this ribbon shape.

I wish I had the skill to wrap this cab but I don't I am also scared to mess up such a work of art. The man who made it has been working rocks for 50 years he is showing me how to make cabs and is a wonderful teacher I would not want to do it any injustes with my lack of skill. Steph

I am no expert, but if you are going to have it wrapped I would think that something simple, not something that detracts from the pattern in the rock.
But that is just me.
