Now why would you be hesitant to post these? They all look great Mark. Nice shapes and a great shine too.

Well, Spike, that batch looks pretty damn good from here.
You gonna "fix 'em up right" on the new cabbin' machine?

I think I can guess the exact spot that first one came from...or at least the general hill. Those look great, Mark! The first one and the "pendant" are my favorites.

Really great work, very hard to pick a fav. Let's say no 2, but 1, 5 and 6 are very close to it.

Thanks all, I ordered a Barranca GP-6 from Bernies on Friday so I am hoping it will get here the first of next week. Yes Ronda, that was where it came from, I have another slab and a small chunk left.

Those are great. Hard to pick a favorite, but pendant might get the nod. That's gorgeous. What was the problem with tumbling them, fractures? Did you vibe them or roll them?

It is a rolling tumbler, there was a lot of wear in this batch that should not have been there as it started in 500. Plus this that happened in polish that was full of beads.

Wow! That brown cab looks just like mountain volcano at WWR that Pho made the buttons from.

I see what you mean. That is disappointing. The reason I asked is that I have a vibe and hope to eventually use it to polish any cabs I try to make. Unfortunately, the science of this hobby gives way to chance a lot more than I'd like. It's gotten to the point where I'm afraid to due a borax burnish between grits or after polish. Even with a lot of pellets, I've taken off the lid to find a terrifically tumbled rock chipped and cracked during the burnish.
