Wasn't really sure where to post this but since this is the "Cabbing" forum it probably fits best here! We bought some diamond paste from CyberRockHounds & also ordered some "Silicone Spray" to distribute the diamond paste on the pad. Well, they no longer sell the spray but did include a bottle of knife sharpening "Hone Oil". But, also suggested that we use either WD-40 or this Oil. We had been using the silicone spray that you would normally use on your tires to make them shine, but can't wait to not only try out the new paste but also the WD-40 idea. Just thought I spread the word LOL (pun intended) but was also wondering what everyone else has been using? Thanks as always. Last

I'm not too sure I like the WD-40 idea. It contains solvents as well as silicon. Don't know what they will do to your pad. I like using the silicon spray, try getting some at an auto parts store.
