I recognize some of thes gorgeous slabs, Tony. I think I'm the happy owner of a jade slab from the boulder in 2nd pic The cabs are gorgeous, like usual in your case. Adrian

Are your wheels diamond? If they are Val Carver, from Minnesota Lapidary Supply, says that when you think they are shot there can still be a lot of life left. The wheels he showed me were colored and he said if there is any color left there is diamond left....MrP

I love the Koroit. The rough is not easy to obtain. The mines want a fortune for it, and only very low grade is on eBay. The Yowah Opal is real nice, too.

The cabs are great, but the slab pics are sweet too.

The slab of Koroit boulder opal, with the red-rimmed white eye, how you planning on cutting that? Follow the outline for a big freeform cab?

SirRoxalot, I have one slab of this stone left and probably won't see another in my lifetime. It was a very lucky cut. I plan on hiring Bob Rush, he is the master at the very large cab. His techniques are one of kind, and the finish work is superb. Now if I can only get a hold of him??

I love the first cab - having the gradation work towards the point makes it absolutely perfect!
