Several weeks ago I ordered a GP6 from Bernie's. I found out last week it's basically on backorder and won't be shipping out from the manufacturer until the 15th I've been itchin' to cut some cabs, and I had the day off today so I got up early and hit the sic wheels out in the backyard. I started around 5:30 (much to the delight of my neighbors, I'm sure) and by 8 am it was already 95 degrees. We're supposed to hit 115 by Monday.. woohoo OK, so anyway here's what I did Rose Quartz Ocean Jasper Botswana My first go at Boulder Opal The BO is definitely a little tricky, and I managed to grind away some of the nicer opal (even being 'gentle' with it). I just got a parcel of this, and chose the least exciting piece I had to start with. I'll save the good stuff for later (when I hopefully know what I'm doing) Thanks for looking!

Beautiful cabs, and that bot is so originally! It seems you already know what you're doing.

Yup . . . the Bot!!! But a nice job on all of 'em, Brian.
Bummer about the grinder. Sounds like you're a victim of Barranca's manufacturing schedule, where they only tool up for something every so often.

Yeah Joe.. the heart's my first ;D Jeremy I'm getting the GP6 with belts (eventually). Rich the tooling schedule makes as much sense as anything else. I figured they wanted to make a very special one just for me Thanks everyone for the kind words!!

Good cabs. Keep it up. I must agree that botswana agate is so cool. Botswana is one of my favorite stones.
