Okay, I have my first cabs done and I want to mount them but the mounts I find are too small. Where can I purchase 25mm round settings, 27mm x 27mm square settings and large oval settings? What type are the most forgiving? Seems like the prong type would be some what flexible. Can someone educate me here please? Thanks john

Firemountaingems.com has some settings (although I'm unsure if they have the size you require) I've never personally seen square ones but that just means I don't get out much - KD has some mounts for her cabs
I've only recently gotten some silver plated ones from FMG and haven't yet tried them out - some are glue on and some have prongs

Thanks, Firemountain has some cinch mounts that are pretty big (I think KD uses some of these) but not the prong type. I have the gem templates and I just assumed if they sell templates then there are mounts to match all the holes! Right?? Silly me LOL john

I bought some from FMG,the oval ones work good but they don't have many round sizes but they do have some small square. If you find any other place let me know. Keith

Rio Grande has a good assortment of settings. I use the cinch mounts and the only thing you have to be careful of is not grinding your cab too small. Oh, and make sure your bezel is the same height all the way around the cab.

I have been a Rio Grande customer for about a year but just today got my first gemstones and findings catalog, and I have to say- if they don't have what you're looking for, I think you'll probably need to fabricate it.

You could make your own, its not that hard but there is some set up cost. I do get my supplies from rio grande, just bought another load from them yesterday.
