Hi all! I got the new grinder set up yesterday and cut my first 4 cabs. These are all done through the 3,000 belt as I haven't tried to set up the polisher yet. I'm kinda clueless with the discs, adhesive and syringes (help!). Anyway just through 3,000 I've got a pretty good shine on 'em.. enough to show them off. First is an unknown from a nodule I picked up from Jamie's friends' agate pile (thanks Jamie) Next is Brown Springs jasper/agate from the Verde Morgan Hill from some material I bought from Ed (thanks man) And Brazil from a chunk I got at Quatzsite Thanks for looking ;D

For not quite finished, they sure are pretty. I think my favorite is the Morgan Hill, too.

Well, from the looks of the cabs, I'd say you're pretty happy with your new machine. Nice shapes and there's even a cabojohn style cab, which is my fav as well.

So you just skipped the whole learning curve thing eh? Those are NICE - love the morgan hill - can't wait to see more (and more and more).

Good job beef! I like the subtlety of the lines in the first one and the way the shape accentuates them.

Pardon me because I'm sure you told us before, but what kind of machine did you get?
