Finished up a few cabs I've been working on this week. The first 3 are self collected material Hot Springs Agate from the Verde Anderson Mine Agate Brown Springs Jade Morgan Hill Poppy Pet Wood The pet wood was a heart breaker as it took to flight during polishing and it chipped the bottom corner I'll have to go back and fix it. Thanks for lookin'!

So sorry to hear about the acident with the pet wood. I know you'll fix it beautifully. Now I'm trying to decide which one I like best...Hmmmm....nope, can't choose just one best. I think my favorites are the Hot Springs Agate and the Morgan Hill Poppy.
Thanks for sharing!

All are very nice, but to me it seems you posted them in their beauty order: despite the chip, the last one is my fav, the the poppy, then jade, then ...

Love them all Brian. The first one and the jade stand out though.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm not real happy with how the pics turned out. I can't seem to get the detail to come out. Christa asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told her a new camera with a decent 'macro' setting. I gots me fingers crossed

They are stunning, and I like the presentation in that nice geode.
Photographing stones is tough. I have a very hard time with lighting. It never does come out just the way I want it to.

I love the first two pics! Where did you get the rock rough from? I looked on Ebay and didn't see any for sale.

Beautiful cabs, Brian. I really like them all, but, for me, this time winers are: Hot Springs Agate, Jade and Pet Wood. By the way, you really got that Jade to shine.

Thanks again everyone! Suzan, Anderson is kinda north of Wickenburg. Zoran the jade was tricky.. and even still you can see a kind of orange peel effect on the face when you turn it just right.

I missed these Beef! You are really putting out some great cabs my friend. Great shapes and bevels....man oh man. That Jade is fantatstic, but the more I look through them, that harder it is to choose a fav! That Hot Springs is really great too. Steve

Those are all great. The hot springs sticks out and the poppy, but I'd be happy to have done any of them! T
