I have no idea what fired my arse up today but here are some cabs after a long hiatus. The first 2 are koroits, the second is a real nice blue from the last rock I cut. I will include the slabs from which they came from after the cabs. This is one of the most intense blue opal I have seen so far out of the koroits: Jade: Here are the slabs from where they came from:

Tony you have way too much BO, I'll take some of those off your hands!
Have you ever worked any purple jade? what's the size of the second BO? I'm blinded by the flash on that one!

Hey Tony, It must have been my Coulter thread that fired you up. Good to see I can be of some use. Great cabs by the way, the blue in that second one is awsome, but that last photo, that slice is going to make some incredible cabs. Can't wait to see the cab pics. Tony

Great cabs Tony! really like the way you capture the best pattern on that first BO. Neat seeing the slabs and how you chose to make your cutouts too....Mel

Sweet! The first one looks like an Indian woman sitting sideways looking toward us!
~Maybe that's a dark haired A. Coulter??

Wow, they are all great. I see the Indian woman too, she looks sad. Probably experienced a vision quest and found out in the future we would call her an Indigenous American Lady. LOL This thread is political!! john

Those are all very nice, as usual! That slice at the end makes me envious. I'd really like to see more of the slabs too. Pics of how you cut from the chunks and what the blanks look like before too much grinding. Opal is fascinating. Thanks, T
