Well I've been very, VERY busy! (modified some names after double checking)
Now I didn,t do all these in one session, I had some in various stages of completion and moved them on as I was progressing
You'll have to excuse the rather monotonous use of 18x25 oval shape but my dad wanted a few wrapped in chainmaille and others for his family when he goes over to see his family in Europe and others I have that size of setting so I've had to use that particular shape - I also have a few craft shows lined up at the end of Sept so I'll need to wrap those as well - but I did get creative with other ones...
But first: Here is the Picasso marble I got off that place that can't be named - vendor Laprap (most excellent)
5 pieces of graveyard plume - cab below somewhere
Here is the whole lot of them - one tiny freeform in the upper middle right is a bloodstone pendant for a co-workers new girlfriend
First up: this one will be mine once I get it polished up at the club on the diamond Titan (and no Dean Cain will not show up - unfortunately) - this is Australian Tiger Iron - very soft & messy but once that hematite shines up nicely it'll be a killer cab!
Pics go upper left to right & then down - then left & right - you get the idea
Montana agate - Aventurine (takes a weird polish) - Rhodonite from BC - this one's more purplish (this one fractured & I glued it back together with super glue - I think my fingers were glued on this one too - go figure - and African Lace
Porcelain Jasper - silver sheen obsidian - porcelain jasper (my first rock love after seeing Sands' purple Haze)- KDs generous gift - and rainbow obsidian (I've been incredibly lucky with catching the flashes of color which leads me to believe that there is NO wrong way to cab or cut this stuff!
Stuff from BC (?) - ? - Graveyard plume - crazy lace
Brazilian I think - montana agate from WarrenA - leopardskin jasper (from KD again - THIS time I got some softer stuff - I also had a slab of much harder material - this on took a very matte finish) - blue lace agate
Montana agate - picture jasper - african queen jasper - graveyard plume - see slab above
? - dentritic agate - silver lace onyx from Stone Age (very soft stuff) - brecciated stuff
some sort of agate (montana) - mahogony obsidian - something crazy from WarrenA (he told me the name last time can't remember darn CRS) - green moss agate
Feel free to add names as fitting (yeah I'm a wealth of information aren't I?)
Thanks for looking - I may repost pictures once they're mounted
