I know that the material can really vary but what do you guys use to polish chrysocolla? I am working on a bunch of cabs that are going to a vendor in Arizona. This is the first time Ive cabbed chrysocolla. Ive been told that cerium can dull it and that ZAM works well.

The chrysocolla from Jamie that I've cabbed has shined real nicely with diamond paste. I haven't tried the ZAM yet, but I can start to see a noticeable polish after 1200 paste...and a really nice shine after 50k.

Jamie's is great; just cab and ZAM. I did buy some a year or so ago that was real porous (not Jamie's). I washed it real good; heated it in the oven (I heated the oven then shut it off and put it in) I wanted to get all the moisture out and "open" it up; then I soaked it with hotstuff. It sucked it up like a sponge. The cabs came out real nice; didn't use any ZAM just the diamond wheels upto 14,000.
