Ok, I cant keep up with y'all that are posting photos of 10-15 cabs at once. But here is ONE............ This is a red tiger eye cab I finished tonight for my mummy. Its super shiny in person, not so much in the photo, although you can see the reflection of the camera on the bottom. ![](http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w195/weeshan/tigereye.jpg) This one will be wrapped in copper with gold filled binding wires. Mom's choice. The copper looks super with the red cab and the upkeep is worth it to her. I will post a photo in the wire wrapping section when its finished. Thanks for lookin, Shannon

Very cool Shannon, I am not sure I have ever seen a red tiger eye before, but that one has to be unequaled. I can picture your Mums choice and it is a good one.

Wow Shannon that's a beaut! I bet it really flashes in person. Post a pick when you get it wrapped, I really want to see it then.

Shannon,I really like the cab as a whole from both the aesthetic and the lapidary.Tiger eye is tricky to get the "eye" rolling properly. You have gotten it perfect and I am bowing to a master ;)That shape so compliments the stone its got great appeal. You know me well enough to know this is not faint praise.Well done!

Thanks all for the comments. And thank you Brad, your praise certainly means a lot! I owe the perfect "eye" to Bob Rush over at Shain's forum. He gave me a private lesson on it.

Excellent job Shannon. Great shape and I bet it just glows in person. Did you buy it red or did you heat it yourself to turn it red?

Ed,
I bought it red. My mom wanted a red tiger eye cab and so she picked out the slab she wanted on ebay. It was taking a chance since she was just going by photos but it worked out.
