Here a few more I've been doing in my spare minutes! Owyhee Picture Jasper Another Bearcreek preform, 2 views. Also from Bearcreeks collection of awesome rocks, I got some slabs of Luna agate and here's a cab from one of them. Laguna Agate Thanks for looking.

Nice cabs,I have never really liked any picture stone myself, but over the past few years that Owyhee has become a must cut for me.Yours is a prime example of why, awesome cab.Bear creek material is great too.Now a question for you sir.I have been reading the past threads a couple of pages at a time,I don't recall ever seeing a high dome stone in your threads.Do you do high domes?Or given your cabbing style are low domes more to your liking?

Brad, I've done some high dome cabs, but most of the stones I work with(agates) seem to show their qualities better if they are cut with a low dome. Stones like tiger eye, pietersite, boulder opal are better suited for high domes, and jaspers are pretty much okay either high or low. I don't think it's so much a matter of style as it is what the particular stone calls out to me. Uh-oh, I hear one calling out to me right now!!!

Those are awesome; even the oval I think I may even like it the best of the four.

I love the Owyhee. For some reason it reminds me of the Old West.
