If only I found things like that when I went through my cutting waste! That's an awesome piece of BO!
I love the swirl of green and blue in the jade cab as well.

That koroit is fantastic! It looks like a tooth. Your cultting waste must be a trasure itself!

Nice ones, Tony! I went through my cutting waste, but it was still waste. Lucky you If you recut the opal, post a before and after... I'm curious what else you can find in there. T

I am not a fan of jade,that jade is very interesting material.As usual your opals are great.I still think that one at the other forum was the best BO I have ever seen.

I stumble across the occasional nice piece in my pile of wood cutoffs but never in the rock waste pile. That's probably because I don't have one, everything goes in the tumbler. The korite is a beaut!

the first and third pic of that opal looks like some sort of iridescent sea creature that attached itself to you somehow on one of your dives and hitched a ride home with you...can you see the little eyeball?
maybe my brain is a little oxygen starved?
