Here are the results of my second batch of cabs. I need to get some higher grit diamond paste as 14,000 isn't high enough to bring out the shine in some of these stones. My photography really stinks so be kind. My camera refuses to focus on these small items unless I have the flash on or have a ton of light on the subject. I have a photo box but can't use it because of this so the photos have way too much glare. I'll get if figured out by about my 1,598 batch. ;D Mozarkite. I do better with hard stones like this. Shined up well and has a good dome. I don't like the shape though. Unknown greenythingite. Has no shine what so ever. I'm not sure what this stone is. I would say some type of picture jasper but it has a waxy feel which none of my other pic jaspers have. All 3 are of the same stone. Tony M

Hmmm the Yellow stones look an aweful lot like Opalized pet wood- any chance of that?

No idea. I got the slab in a group deal off of ebay and they weren't labled.

Lookin' good, Tony. First one looks like someone snipped off a loud tie. The yellow stuff is nice, I like the oval best.

Another nice batch! The green one is pretty even if it didn't shine so well and that first shape would make a nice bola tie stone....Mel
