Hey everyone, thanks for the birthday wishes(in the other post). I had to go to work today, but I finished these last night, so that's close enough to my birthday to call them birthday cabs. These first 2 are from rocks I got at a club sale here in San Jose. These next 3 are from the Agate pile in Arizona Another BO for Liz Now this next one is another that will go into my personal collection. I saw the picture of the woman in a long flowing dress looking out of a cave with the orange sky, and that's why I bought this rock. Then, after I cut the slab, I found the cool scene of the rolling hills on the other side. So, since I couldn't decide which side to make the front, I decided to make this one a double dome cab. I think it may be a dendritic opal. Side 1 Side 2 Well, I'll be going out to dinner, but maybe when I get home I'll have some cabbing time.

Amazing cabs, Stoner! You do awesome work.
By the way, if you don't have any plans for the green one in the 3rd pic, I have some wire thats just itching to wrap it (my wife just loves green). lol
Keep up the good work.

Man oh man Ed, I see why that last one is going into your permanent collection. That picture just jumps right out at you. Really unique and beautiful! Gotta say though that #2+3 run very close seconds. I'm a big fan of moss and that green looks almost like some of the Rio Grande and needle Peak green moss except even prettier and the red moss, wow!....mel

Ed, all are great, but that feathery yellow one is phenomenal. And that green moss is pretty terrific, too. I feel like we all got a birthday gift, too.

Special cabs for a special day, indeed! I ballance between the second one and the triangular one, which looks in backlit exactly like a tornado viewed from satelite.

Be a u tiful! In that last one I see that woman pregnant and then the back side is where her water broke!
That green moss is a keeper too - and the swirly brown one before the BO is a winner and the BO, well what can I say?

All awesome as usual, but I've really really never seen anything like that optical illusion effect like on that 7th one, where the curling swirl appears as a top edge curling over... Whoa!
