Okay, the birthday is gone, time to move on. I finally had a day off while the guys installed the granite counter tops in our kitchen, so I cabbed all day and it felt good! This first one is from a weird looking rock puppie found at Burro Creek. The outside looked like cornflakes. Here's the rough rock. The cab A couple from the agate pile. Rainbow Obsidian Another cut of that sweet feathery agate. back-lit Chrysocolla RSJ Montana Agate Backlit That it for now!

The cornflake one is really cool! I love the shape and pattern on the square one, too.

Wow - I love that Chryscolla one...the red really accents the blue. Second favorite would have to be that Montana!

Dang Stoner those are great cabs! If you haven't done it yet, a suggestion for a name for the third on would be "Fire on the mountain". Reminds me of a picture of the fires out west I got a couple of years ago.

Outstanding Ed! The first agate pile, that sweet feathery one.. and the Montana steal the show. I'm hoping to work a couple tonight and finish 'em up before our CA trip Thursday. Gonna be anywhere near Oceanside this weekend?

Ooh I like number one the best! If it had dendrites it would be what I've seen sold as Burro Creek Paint Agate. Very nice batch.....Mel
