Hope you all had a great holiday and are enjoying a long weekend. I had the day off again today while the guys were installing our kitchen floor tile, so I spent a couple of hours at the wheels. Plasma Agate A small agate from Brian's grab bag at BC Blue mossy agate These next two were sent to me from Dee, thanks. Blue BC agate Gorgeous black plume agate, very densely packed Golden Horn Coral, from stonesthatrock, thanks Maryann and Ralph. Could this be a type of Ocean jasper/agate? Royal Velvet Obsidian Rutilated Rose Quartz All for now.

8-)wow! that black plume is spectacular. that royal velvet obsidian came out as nice as i imagined when you posted the slab. but my fav has got to be the rutile . i just worked on two pieces of that yesterday and just have to finish the backs. KD

Love that coral cab! So, was it agatized or calcified material? Gotta say that rutilated quartz is pretty darn neat too.....Mel

The velvet is gorgeous, but the black plume seems to come from the Moon or even further.

Wow I didn't know there was rutilated rose... man that black plume gets the glands secreting. Salivary, that is.

Another great batch. I like that BC blue agate a lot. It looks so soothing. Ahh. That brian's-grab-bag agate looks beautiful too, like a nebula in space. Steve
