I Chewed up my index fingers pretty good cabbing on Thanksgiving. I Decided to only try four today (actually 3 1/2 the cinnabar broke and I made a little free form). leopardskin, psilomene, Morgan Hill, cinnabar.

Nice cabs. I love the shapes. The psilomelane is fun stuff when it's all said and done, but it sure does make a mess.

Sweet -- all great. I've got a leopard skin preform set aside I'll get right on after seeing that. I'd forgotten to ask the rock shop what it was called and just found out here, lol.

The psilomene wasn't so bad. I use a lot of water when I cab. The messiest for me is Nipomo Maracasite, the stinkiest is Stefoinite.

The leopardskin and the Morgan Hill are beauties!
I just bought some real nice leopardskin slabs at a local rock show. Decided to pop in the next day to buy all the rest, and they were gone.

Those are terrific! Love that Morgan Poppy. Worth the shredded fingers, eh?

Those are really nice. I like the shapes. I have a couple slabs of leopard skin that I want to get too. I think you just moved them up the priority list.
