It needs a little work, but I am reluctant to touch it.

Actually I disagree with everyone and say it's horrible! you'll never be able to do anything with that piece of junk - I on the other hand have a perfectly good garbage bin here for you to toss it into...
Okay since you're not buying that, I'll have to say yeah, yeah, very nice! *sigh* that never works!!!

Wow! You may be reluctant to touch it, but I promise to polish it every day to remove my drool and fingerprints.... Hmmmm, Tweet, didn't work for me either. That's beautiful. I don't think I've ever heard of Blue Mountain... but I've only been doing this for 4 months! ;D Thanks for showing us! Amy

That's a beauty! What a 3D landscape, and that blue sky!
Susan, yours is also beautiful and unique.

Don't worry -- I'll fix it for you. As a gift fit for frigging royalty!!! I don't think it needs Jack (and Jack left town). Phenomenal. It looks done!

That cab looks good enough to eat!
You've crossed a line there, that's not a cabochon, that's art.
The quartz family, and the artists on this board, continue to amaze me!

I don't know where I got the material. My wife who is an artist found the scene and designed the cab. We are both interested in photography including framing and cropping scenes. I wish I had more material like that. Here's a freeform from a scrap that is more typical of the blue mountain material I have: The picture is a blow up cropped from another scan. The cab is around the same size as the other one.
