Howdy folks.. I'm having a blast with my new grinder and learning more with each cab I cut. I'm rediscovering material that I collected from Woodward Ranch back in March. It's been sitting in buckets waiting for me to get a grinder because I didn't want to tumble polish this stuff. Don't get me wrong though... I still have the barrels turning... it's just that some of the WWR agate has layers of different hardness so tumbling it is difficult and produces bad undercutting. These first 3 are all WWR agate... I'm still amazed at the large variety of agates found there. This last one is unknown to me but I suspect it might be St. John's flower agate... just not as colorful as some I've seen. I tried a concave side on the one above... that's as deep as it gets on a 6" wheel... I'm already thinking about building a grinder that will accommodate 2" wheels to make some crazy concave cabs.. I'm working on a way to take better pics... soon. Dan
