This is the result of my weekend's work. They are all photographed wet. I only sanded the skin off of one finger and I've never been one for manicures so having dented nails is minor! I worked all of them by hand except the two shown on dop sticks. Obviously I have a long way to go, especially since I don't have a means to polish them yet. Maybe Santa will be good to me! The odd shaped chrysocola is due to a break but I wanted to share the gorgeous color. Fossilbrain has been giving me lots of information about polishing with a Dremel so I'm waiting for supplies. I think I'm going to stick with the "beach theme" for my photos for something a little different. Chrysocola from MichaelJohn Mystery rock from somewhere in the Midwest I think this one was in one of the boxes from Jamie Oregon beach rock Gold Beach Jasper? More Oregon beach rock Chrysocola from Jamie - broke while grinding but I had to share the color! Gold Beach rock - photo doesn't do this one justice! Picked up somewhere in the Southwest Thanks for looking!!!! Susan

Wow, that OR beach rock is a real winner! Nice job on all of them. Don't worry about weird shapes. If a rock breaks, I consider that a message to me of how the rock wants to be shaped, not how I want it to be.

Nice philosophy, Kurt! I think that's one of the advantages of not using templates.

These are pretty amazing! Looks like you're determined to cut cabs and your hard work is paying off. Just imagine if you get your hands a real cabbing machine!
