Well, got six more preforms done last night. I counted and I still have more than 60 to grind but I figure six more and I'll be ready for the dops then that should keep me cabbing for a good long while. A couple of these are Condors which seem to be shaped so as to be easy to grind or, so irregular as to make for small lousy shaped cabs because just too much rough skin has to be ground away. Shaped my first Black Rock Desert T-Egg slice too. Not sure how it'll work up as man, the matrix is chippy on these eggs. Worst I've ever tried to cab. Anyway, thanks for looking....Mel

Despite all the wonderful colors in the other cabs, my favorite is the "eye" in the centre-upper area. The pattern and its framing are both beautiful.

Nice preforms!!! Hurry up and get to work I want to see them finished.
Don't leave your dopped preforms in the garage like I did. They come right off after getting cold.
