My first post in this section. ;D These are black agate, it's becoming one of my favorite rocks to mess with. It's as hard as Brazilian agate and shines like a diamond.......

Boy that black agate is neat stuff. Now Randy, you have to learn how to make composite cabs. Think how cool a boulder opal would look surrounded by a frame of that beautiful black agate!.....Mel

Black's the new fire, this year ;D Gorgeous work! I've even found some nice black from coral down here on "the sand pile", just gotta pear down all of the pitted stuff, lol.

Great cabs Randy! I think I'd agree with Ed....we'll be seeing lots of great cabs coming from you. Can' wait. I likke Mels Idea too. Is composite cabs the same as Intarsia?? Steve

Your 1st post and we only get ONE pic?? Don't get me wrong they are sharp and very shiny but come on man, a new grinder and only two cabs to post. You need to pick it up bud!

Like black onyx on steriods and all natural to boot. That black agate is awesome. I haven't gotten around to mine. I think they just jumped up in line . You got a great shine. Keep em coming.
