Well, since these contests have been so much fun for me, I have decided to do one also. All you have to do is guess the weight. The closest guess wins this piece plus more of the same in smaller sizes - enough to fill a flat rater($8.10 size) as full as I can (20-30lbs total - I have so much that I need to get rid of a bunch!!). This will probably be limited to those here in the USA as shipping outside would be too great - unless something can be worked out. I have a large chunk of Flint and Chert material, full of crystallized fossils. It is 5 1/2" tall, and the bottom is 4"x4" square tapering (or stepping) up to 3"x3" square at the top. The back side has an awesome standout fossil of a plant or small fish (it is hard to tell which) on the lower end - but each side has some kind of fossil remnants also. It will make for some great slices for someone - (with a big saw - lol)!! There will be only one winner, so no duplicate answers on the guesses. Closest guess wins. In case of a tie where no one guesses the actual weight, but I get two people that are the same distance apart, I will make up another smaller contest (random number type or something) to see who will get the bigger chunck, in their flat rater (I will add another smaller box for the other person in the tiebreaker as a small consolation prize). The contest will be open until midnight on the night of 1/2/07 - Tuesday, after which I will announce the winner on Wednesday. Good Luck!! Dave Front and Right Side Back with Fossil Left Side

Hey Daniel - Thanks for the nifty chart! I saw it in your other post and thought it was neat, but didn't know how to duplicate it. It's a good way to keep track of things and let everyone know where they are at! Also for everyone else - I reposted the pictures in a smaller format so they would be easier/ faster to load for those with a slower system.
