Howdy folks, Here's an easy contest for the new year. Simply guess the weight in pounds and ounces! No partial ounces please. My scale is not that accurate. The first person who guesses correctly will instantly win this bunch of mixed jasper from around our ranch at Hornitos, CA. There may be some cabbing hunks lurking in this batch but it's mainly to crunch up for tumbling. Hopefully it will make a colorful batch of stones. The only hint is it will all fit in a flat rate carton. Contest limited to folks in reach of the flat rater carton, (U.S.only). In the future I hope to get together enough small slabs etc for another contest that will be for everyone. If no one guesses the exact weight by midnight January 7 the person closest wins. If two persons are off by the same weight, the first person who posted and came closest will be the winner. Have fun...mel
