Whoa! A lot of guesses already but no winner yet folks. I didn't say it above, but feel free to change your guess if you like. Your entry will be the lastest post or modification you've posted. Thanks for all the interest......mel

Hey Mel - How about letting Canadians participate if they agree to pay the shipping difference, or to take only what can be shipped for $8.10? Or is it a customs thing?

Daniel: You know the US flat rate shipping is such a good deal that I never even considered customs once I looked at how expensive shipping to Canada, Great Britain, Serbia etc would be. I do know when I ship my knives etc to foreign lands the extra paper work is a bit of a hassel and the fees are incredibly high . And knives are way lighter than rocks! I mainly didn't want to exclude other international members while including Canada even were they not so expensive to ship too. As I said in my original post, I'll try to accumulate some slabbettes and in the future have another contest that will have a prize light enough that I can afford to ship it anywhere.
Tweetie: I'm so sorry! As I've told Daniel, I'll do a slab contest in the future sometime for everyone to play. And, nope no leopardskin jasper in the lot. It's all a mix of material from within a five mile circle of our ranch....mel

Hey Mel no hard feelings, I just wanted to know if that was leopardskin in there - looks like it -
I know how expensive shipping gets, I got a huge box from Cuervo73 and it cost almost $30 to ship it to me - Kim sent a few slabs & it was about $15US to ship to me - wish we had flat rate boxes here - I got two slabs off ebay from BC and she charged me $8 to ship it and it cost her $9.20 to send
