Well, First off I would like to thank everyone that participated in the Flint/Chert contest. It was alot of fun for me watching everyone guess the weights! Also - a BIG THANKS to Daniel for providing the graph charts for everyone to see their places!!!!! The official weight - by the ingredient scales where I work - brings the chunk of Flint/Chert in at...... 5lbs - 4oz. Looks like Steveholmes is the winner with a guess of 5lbs-3oz!!!!! I will send you a PM to get your information! Thanks again to all that participated!! I will have another one sometime in the Spring!! Dave

Man I kept comparing it to the coke pepsi can lol, that was a really tough one/ I was 4 Lbs off??? LOL thanks again!!! Yeah - I was hoping that the pop can would not throw everyone off - I used it as an example of size more than as a similar weight. The piece is quite dense and even fooled me when I weighed it - I would have guessed about 3 1/2lbs myself if I hadn't put it on the scale!
