Oh dear, poor Connrock is feeling CONtentious and is obviously CONfused by the 14 times removed reference.
Really Connrock, it's okay to be removed from some members of one's family tree. Just think about who is hanging on the tree, especially if it is anut-producing tree. Or it could be a CONiIfer and then your relatives would always be green (with envy, I'm sure) and could have pine CONes coming out the wazoo!
And I must ask: Would you prefer to be 14 times removed from Tony W who is very much into rocks or only separated by 6 degrees from Kevin Bacon who is merely into Rock?
Fellow RTH members, I don't think we are going to need to call on any forensics experts here to find out if these fellows have a tree limb in common. The more I read what Connrock and TonyW have written...well, I think the truth is in the pudding(stone). ;D

I have been removed way more than 14 times, but it was never me what done it. I am now, and mostly was, completely innocent! And, man, I sure am happy to hear I have a cuz Connrock way up there in Conn. I hear the leaves are real purty come fall! Me and the family are talking about maybe coming up to see ya! If we can git that dang Edsel to start.... T

Tony, I'd stay clear of any part of New England if I was you and especially CT. If my wife and I want to go "leaf peeping" we head north to NH or VT but it's gettin iffy about VT with all that's going on in the wacky state!! In VT ya might get pulled over by a state cop for marring a woman instead of a man!!!Lotta fruits up there for sure!!!!!!
If you've a mind to drive through CT with your Edsel keep in mind that it may get stripped as you drive along the highway. Some of the latin immigrants are purty darn good at if nothin else!!
I hear a rumor that somewhere out west (I think it was Utah) that has a petition goin round to give New England and the Statue of Liberty back to the French!!!
Not too good up here and the closer ya git to New York City the worse it gits!! There's a LOT of city folk migratin up here from there and they're bringin their city "ways" with um!
I live in the boone docks and we had a drive-by shooting that left a house with 17 bullet holes in it!!
Sure aint what it used to be 40+ years ago when me and the "not so little anymore" woman built here!!
CONN trary to what ya see on the TV about them trees turnin colors,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it's the 68% sulfuric acid that comes down with the rain that turns the leaves colors before it kills um off!!
I better git outa here before Ole Lady B. catches me hijackin her contest post agin!!

The heat is on and the Newbies are marching up to the starting line... Two entries came in tonight! Thank you "lastl98" for an excellent entry. Hopefully this won't be the "Last" we here from you. (I'm sorry, I just couldn't help myself. Last is such an interesting name. ) And just to let everyone know that even the newest Newbies are invested in this Forum, the second entry received tonight was from "nomopbo" who joined RTH on July 16, 2007. Welcome aboard and welcome to the contest! Only two more days 'til the close of Phase 1 and then the Non-Newbies will have their say...although some Non-Newbies have already CONtributed quite a bit! Okay Nephrite, you just gave me one of those deja vue moments! I could have sworn I read that exact same posting before. And then when I went back over all the posts I discovered I DID READ THAT EXACT SAME POSTING BEFORE on July 18th. I don't know, between you and Curt, and old Connrock...
All I can say is you all better be posting on the Phase 2 part of this contest!!!!! ;D
Lady B
P.S. Not you Curt. You aren't eligible to vote. And you made yourself ineligible here, too. Poor guy. Maybe Nephrite or Connrock will send you an ineligible consolation prize.

And the Newbies are still coming through for me!!!! Just got a really good entry from "onewomanarmy". Great work, Shannon. Hmmm I wonder if she was saving the best for last? Pretty soon all the Non-Newbies will be able to decide. What am I going to do when there are no more entries to post and all I have to do is tally votes? I know! I'll just have to co-sponsor another contest! YAYYYYYY!! Lady B

Stop making me laugh, Nephrite! I have serious work to do here. Lets see, where was I? One itty bitty pebble, two itty-bitty pebbles, three--Oh, Look! A Rock! Why that must be some of that gorgeous Mozarkite BuiltonRock is giving away!

I am a Newbie here at RTH and I am the most hilarious and deserving member to win that box of gorgeous Mozarkite because I have the smallest box of rocks on the board. Ever since joining I have looked at others and the size of their boxes with envy.
