Since I can't seem to win a contest, I'm just going to Have a contest, ;D This is a guess the weight in grams contest. The person who gets closest without going over wins the piece of black druze on wood below. As usual, my photo sucks, but it gives you an idea. Everyone is eligible. Newbies and Oldies. To make it more interesting I am not going to give dimensions. If no one is getting close in a few days, I'll start giving hints. You may guess as many times as you wish. The last guess you make is the one that will count. Please put your new guess in a new post. Closes Aug. 2, 2007 @ 8:00 PM Central Time. This is my first contest, so if I left out anything important, give me a shout. Good Luck to all!! Curt

YAYYYYY!! Another contest!!!!! I don't do so well with the whole "grams" routine but I really love that Pet Wood with Black Druze so what the heck, I'll guess 227 grams. It sure is pretty! Lady B

Looking at the crystal size and at the wooden pattern, I'd say it's about 583 grams.
Thanks, Curt, for the contest! Great piece of wood!

900 grams. Very, very cool rock, that's got to be the find of a lifetime. I can't believe you'd part with any of it, thanks for offering it here! I sure enjoyed your picture story about finding it! Please keep us posted when you go back for the rest of the log.
