This little boy was given to me to love and cherish! He came right at the correct time in my life. Problem is........I can't think of a name for him!! He is a "Morkie", a cross between a Maltese and a Yorkie. He will only weigh 4 lbs fully grown. Please post your names and we will vote on the my favorite top 10. He will be the newest member of RTH!! LOL I like unusual names. Nothing common. I will close the naming Tuesday night at 7pm central time and then post the vote. The winner will get some great Woodward Ranch pieces including a couple from the vein I found!! Here is our newest member..................

what a little cutie and i don't like dogs much. from what you describe, he won't get much bigger or less cuter......i think his "formal" name could be :
Imperial Stout
but you could call him Imp or Impy for short.

I say Chico..........dont know why. He just looks like a "Chico" to me. And from a veteran Professional Groomer Sheri, both of those are longhaired breeds so he will either require frequent brushing if you decide to leave him long or a haircut about once every 6-8 weeks. A "puppy" type clip looks cute on both breeds. Its the same length all over on the body and a teddy bear type head. You can check out my grooming website if you like, there are photos of both breeds in that style of haircut. www.petrestorations.comGood luck, he is absolutely adorable! My daughters are squealing as we speak. Shannon

Sheri, What a sweeet pooch! I love that little guy. With the help of my girls, we came up with MILO! They want to know if we win, toss him in with the other goodies! LOL!! Congratz on the newest member, and they sure do help ease the pains and the rotten days. Especially when you come home, and he will be waiting there for you with wagging tail and lots of kisses. Dont know if I can offer a name more than once but do you remember the 1984 movie Gremlins? The cute little fuzzy creatures that turned into evil green slimy things if you got them wet or fed them after midnight? Well, the cute fuzzy creatures were called Mogwai's. Pronounced Mog-why. Now that would be an original name. And darn it, he looks like a Mogwai!!!

Here are a couple names to try on:
"Jasper" "Rocky" "Schatzi", this is German for "sweet heart"

Hey Rocky, Jasper jumped in my head right after I posted this contest! LOL I really like all of the names so far. This is gonna be hard. My 10 year old Shitzu, Abbie, is mothering him. I wasn't sure if she would ignore him but she is such a calm & laid back little thing she just took right too him!! Abbie is only 8 lbs so they fit together. I am really attached to the little guy already!

What a complete cutie! I think he looks like a miniature Chewbacca in the first pic. I realize that Chewbaca is a large, intelligent dude, but sometimes great things come in small packages. I also think this little guy is going to have a very large impact in your life! Chewbacca was also a loyal, brave and stalwart friend. I submit Chewbaca, "Chewie" for short. Not the most original, but that's what he looks like to me.
Altho, as a resident of a town actually named Imperial, I do like the Impy idea!

Name that little cutie "Blitz". As soon as you get tired of him, send him to me and I will take care of him for you.

Sheri, he is ADORABLE. What a wonderful new fellow in your life.
A name, a name. What's in a name? Hmmm. Let's see, you are AKA Rockhobbit, and hobbits are sweet, friendly little guys, so I would call him FRODO (he's my favoritest Hobbit!).

Well, since he is a "Morkie", then I would call him "NANU NANU". (Mork and Mindy)

Very cute pooch Sheri. The first name that came to mind was "Biscuit", but I like Jasper too. Steve

Based on the photos I would say you want to name him Marlboro. But that led me to another cigarette related name that I like, "Winston". I actually like the name from the protagonist in George Orwell's 1984, Winston Smith. Reeeealy cute pup by the way. He is so tiny. Tony M
