I have been asked to clarify the Rules re: GPW, FRU, and SRU. I am always happy to help the Voters, so... GPW: This is the poem that jumps out at you and says: "I AM THE BEST because I convey the Poetry of the Image." This poem can be serious or funny, long or short, happy or sad, or whatever makes your mind and heart meld with the vision conjured up by the poet's words as you look at the inspiring photograph. FRU: This is the poem that jumps out at you and says: " I AM THE BEST but I just don't quite fit the Poetry of the Image I am linked to here." This poem can be serious or funny, long or short, happy or sad, or whatever makes your mind and heart meld with the vision conjured up by the poet's words even though it doesn't quite match what you see when you look at the inspiring photograph. SRU: This is the poem that jumps out at you and says: "I AM THE FUNNIEST despite the Poetry of the Image. I tickle your funny bone. I make you chuckle, laugh, or even guffaw and you don't even need to look at that accompanying photo." This, then, is the poem that you read as funny. It makes your mind and heart meld with the sense of humor of the poet even though it might not match what you see when you look at the inspiring photograph. I hope that helps define the differences between the GPW, FRU, and SRU. I don't necessarily think it makes your job easier. Lady B
