Well the Voting/Judging Phase of the Poetry of Images Contest is off to a good start. Several RTH members have already cast their votes but it is still a wide-open contest.
I want to show you what the Second Runner-Up Prize Pool has in it. The SRU Winner will have his or her choice of either a Priday Thunder Egg, a Succor Creek Thunder Egg, or half of a Geode with quartz inclusions + 6 Bubble Gum Agates. I took pictures of the prizes on a cloth backdrop as well as on paper with a 1-inch blocked graph under the rocks to help demonstrate relative sizes of these prizes.
In addition to the above rocks, the SRU will also receive one of these cabs generously donated by Stoner!
In a few days I'll post pix of the First Runner-Up Prizes.
The contestants have done their work by writing 50 outstanding poems. Now it is up to all the members of RTH to show your support for these Poets by casting your votes.
