Jack - i looked them up on the net but they dont show stock yet - they are working on it.
I'd like to know lb for lb what its worth - but then again its all about quality as this stuff like so many other types of veined rock varies wildly in density and such.
Hey I have a few good chunks - but my mate has the biggest lump and he was just "there" with me when he found it. Bummer. I bet he doesnt know where it even is now.
If you go into Burhouses - check out the Blue John for me and let me know what the score is.
Looking round the shops in Castleton i think they are getting a bit short on the stuff to be honest.
Cheers Mark.

Hi Mark Thanks for the pictures, your making me homesick as it was close to where we lived also We went to the Blue John mines last spring - absolutely fantastic, and Blue John rock is so pretty. The view from the road down into Castleton town is amazing - its got to be one of the most picturesque places I've ever been to. Did you go down speedwell caverns as well on the boat - that scared the crap out of me, I hate boats and have visions of it flipping over and us being trapped under it as the passage is so narrow. Luke is looking very handsome I'm going to bow out of this contest as I have a nice big chunk of Blue John so will give someone who hasnt been there a chance to win

Congratz John...and Thanks Mark! I pictured that paperweight to be much larger. I was only 400+ grams off...not too far off. Thanks again! Steve
