i'm not sure i could climb back up out of there and you'd have to call the coast guard to rescue me and my 300 pound jade boulder.

If there is trip in the summer time, I would be interested in visiting Big Sur. Its been years since I have been that way. I think most of my kid's activities are done by the time school lets out.

Sound like fun, but I don't know how to dive. If it's any help, I can always be in chrage of licking rocks. A little kelp or some barnicles doesn't bother me. Steve

Sounds great to me, I need a good diving trip! Haven't dove outside of Missouri except for one Trip to Mexico. I can bring plenty of extra diving equipment too! Sandy

LOL ROCKLICKER!!! Oh now that was too funny!! Oh I'm In.. I've got to see the ocean one time and I'll never forget it.. now.. I think it would be a perfect retirement gift to my dad to drag him out there for the first time for him... myself.. I don't do very well with breathing underwater.. But I'd love to find a treasure like what you got right there!
*smiles*
Anyone ever told you that you look like Ken Barbie?

Whaaat? you don't believe me? lol... Trust me on this one! lol.. anyways.. before you book the beach house.. what's all needed for a trip like this? will it include piggy back prices? snorkels for rent? And garentee of jade? Oh and most of all.. will I get to meet a genuine beach bum.. ya know.. for the sake of being a tourist.. ...and is there camping? or RV set up's near by?

;D Oh those pics of your last trip were Awesome! I just hope You can get me to go home afterwards..IF I don't find any treasure.. I might end up shacking up with some beach bum in A cardboard box or living under some Dock ..... lol.. jks.. You're right, I think it would be worth the trip regardless.. sure would beat getting sunstroke and left to the buzzards out here in the desert .. I would be too scared to sleep in a Tent tho...I'd have to rent a RV or something...... (do they rent those things?) and there isn't like :-/Killer Jelly fish or Sharks or Sting rays or anything real scary is there? Well . if things go well and the winds of change are in my favor.. Youuuuu betchya I'm IN.. ;D

Yay, it's going to happen?? I'll be there too! I'm a mean beach comber! lol. Yep, I DON'T venture into the water. I LIKE breathing! But that would be awesome to hang out with rock buddies, see what the braver ones pull out of the ocean, and hunt for pebbles on the beach.

Tony, I'll let Roxy think up a date, since she and hopefully her Pop will be making it all the way out here! I'm only a few hours away. True, the weather was pretty wild that day! Take my word, the 40's are great! We want you to stay out of big swells and out of shark's jaws...!
Oh boy, beach combing!! Roxy, I hope Gabbi can come too! She's taking a full load of classes at the JC, but I bet she'd LOVE to come too!

Okay folks, a few more things that came up in PM's!
Tony will be bringing his travel trialer, so besides camping along some of the most beautiful coast in the world and beach combing, we'll have his stove and microwave! ;D
..and even more exciting to me is that he said he has a couple 2000 watt generators and could set-up some carving while we're there. He has a foredom and would be willing to bring it with lots of diamond bits. Jade carving!
No date yet, but it sounds like it's shaping up to be a super outing with fellow rockhounds!

Well.... I don't have the first clue as what would be good weather for diving or beach combing ect.. never been that way .. and sure would hate to be the one to pick out a date... I'm pretty much available anytime for a hunt.. But my father might not be able to go till after late May or June... So I'll leave it up to you guys... and if I can go I'll be there... and if not.. then just send me a box of sand.. LOL...
Woohooo real camping stuff! can't go wrong with microwaves and 2000 watts of power! lol yup sounds like it would be lots of Fun! *smiles*

Cuz it does sound like this would be Fun, and I'm always game for Fun and Adventure! Oh been meaning to ask... is there underwater caves there too? or just bottom searches.. (for my dad) I'm too chicken..
